"You haven't ruined my night," said Douglas firmly, rolling up his sleeve, "And you're not driving anywhere when you might black out behind the wheel." He presented his bared arm and asked, "Will this work?" He kept his tone measured and confident for Martin's sake. Thought to be honest he was a little worried. Just about how it would feel. It was his first time feeding a vampire, after all. No. He was helping Martin. That was what he was doing here. That was all right.
Martin blinked wearily up at Douglas. "A-are you sure? I've never fed from anyone's wrist before..." He winced as thirst burned in his throat. He was so tired, so weak...a little blood would be all right. At least so he wasn't blacking out. "I-if you really want to..." He was shivering now, his fangs beginning to extend. When did it get so cold? "Y-you should sit, though. It'll be easier for you to control how much I take."
