Julie Parker
Julie Parker is the middle child of the Parker family. She's sporty and not afraid to stand up for herself or what she feels is right. But she's still figuring herself out. Julie and Jenny are often at odds with each other, because they're very different. But in spite of that, Julie loves her younger sister dearly. And she would do anything to protect her family.
The Parker House: Part 4
Through the dining room archway, you can see the Parker kitchen. It's also quite large to accommodate this big family. The kitchen is mostly Mrs. Parker's domain, but she gets help from her kids, and even Jane, on occasion. There is even a bit of magic done here!
“Jane?” Mrs. Parker called from the kitchen. “Is that you?”
“Yes!” I answered.
“Oh, good,” Mrs. Parker responded, sounding relieved. “Could you come here?”
“Coming!”
Mrs. Parker was pulling layers of cake out of the oven. “We’re running a bit late today. Could you help me frost the cake?”
“Of course!” I said, excitedly reaching for the large bowl of shimmering frosting in front of me.
“We can’t put the frosting on until the cake layers are cool.”
“Oh,” I said, dropping my hand. “How long will that take?”
“Not long at all.” Mrs. Parker pulled her clear crystal wand out of the air and waved it over the cake pans. I felt a slight chill and shivered. She smiled at me. “That should do it.”

Off to the left, is the downstairs bathroom. And that takes care of the first floor! And since this second picture is of the kitchen still under construction, I'll mention here that the Parkers had this house built for them. They needed quite a few specifics, and they planned for this to be their permanent home base, so they went all out.
Being the founders of a media company has perks, though it probably cost a lot less to build this huge house in Jane's 'little nothing valley' than it would in, say, California or New York. 😆
Yes, the Parkers are rich. But they don't live too extravagantly, all things considered. 😂
The Parker House: Part 3
I followed Jenny through the living room and into the dining room. It had a long table set with ten elegant chairs. Fancy paintings and other ornate decorations hung on the walls, along with some framed family photos.
I could see the kitchen through the archway, where my Mom and Mrs. Parker were chatting. A door opened to my left, and I felt my heart jump strangely.
I turned. Coming out of one of the two doors along the left wall of the dining room was a guy with messy brown hair and glasses. Our eyes met, and I felt the most intense sensation in my chest. It was like feeling the electricity between Jenny and Dominic again.
Except worse. Much worse.
Because this feeling was completely mine.

Just off of the dining room is the portal room. (Represented by a fountain here. 😆) This makes for an easy link between the house and the Magic Inc. office building. As well as a way for far-off family to pop in.
I heard a couple of boys come into the room behind me. I only turned to look at them when Dominic spoke. “Do you think this is the bathroom?”
I glanced at where he was going and shouted out in alarm – “No!” – just as he pushed down on the handle.
The door was locked. Dominic and his friends looked at me like I was crazy.
I swallowed and pointed towards the kitchen. “Um, it’s just through there.”
“Okay…” Dominic headed into the kitchen, still frowning. His friends snickered as they went back into the living room. I scolded myself. Of course the Parkers would keep their portal room locked during the party.

The Parker house also has a music room, which I'm not sure will ever get mentioned in the books. 😅 But it exists! This very musically-inclined family would, of course, have a piano. This room, unlike most of the others, is way too crowded to actually use in game! I might try to fix this at some point.
The Parker House: Part 2
When you first enter the Parker house, you see the living room. It would look more lived in, but I tend to make Sim houses very open to minimize routing issues. 😅 I still would like a chance to make it a bit more homey now that I have a lot more decorating experience.
The inside of the house was very pretty, but it didn’t look completely perfect. There were shoes by the door and a mess of things on the coffee table. It was clear people actually lived here. The atmosphere wasn’t nearly as intimidating as the outside. It felt… normal. Comfortable and warm. Not so different from my house. Just bigger.
