Binding
If you don't have a binder - like me... - here's a tip on how to bind safely at home.
First up, and I cannot stress this enough, NEVER USE BANDAGES. It can be severely damaging to your ribs, and breathing - so please do not use bandages to bind.
What I do, is take an old, smaller training bra, and wear it. Then take another, and put it on backwards. This provides support to the back, which is really helpful in making binding less damaging, and less painful.
Just remember: don't bind for prolonged periods of time - 8-12 hours is the maximum time usually allowed. Dysphoria or no, please do not do yourself damage.
