Blurb: You were always bad with first impressions. Meaning every first date you went on was always really awkward. This one was no exception. One of your friends had set you up with this guy, Michael. And you were really unsure at first but your friend kept telling you just to go for it. so you did. So now as you were sitting across the table from Michael you were really regretting it. It was extremely awkward, almost to the point where you wanted to just get up and leave. You had run out of small talk topics, so you were just sort of sitting around waiting for your food. “Uhm, I’ll be uh.. right back” he stands up, walking by the table but as he does so his elbow hits your glass of water, spilling it all over you. He turns and his eyes were wide in shock. “Oh my god... I’m so sorry. Fuck” he rushes back over but you shake your hand and stand up. “No don’t worry.. Can we just like.. Get out of here maybe?” you ask as you look around. “We could just go to my house and order a pizza” you suggest with a small shrug and its as if he lets out a sigh of relief. “Yeah, yeah lets just go” he smiles before throwing some money on the table. His hand rests on your back gently before he leads you out of the restaurant so you could hopefully turn this awful first date, into a good one.
