This instantly became one of my favourite ever fics / verses after only reading about 5 chapters. it's so beautiful and kurt's character is so wonderful. it's one of those fics that will change your views on people forever - i promise.

Day 40: Favorite Fanfiction

I love love love RM's Boston/DC series, which captures a version of these characters that felt so real and lived-in to me. All that tangled combination of ambition and longing for connection that i remember as characteristic of one's twenties.

Others: All the Other Ghosts, for Kurt's interior thoughts, and for the great culture of fanarts and fic it inspired. 

Lovesong, for how it pulls one into the fragmented, fractured story that is life after brain injury.

Little Numbers, because I'm a sucker for an epistolatory novel (and for the art it inspired, and the DOG--and the fluffy cat too.)

Someone Like You, for the romance, and for the supporting characters (Adele!), who are such real people on their own, and for making me want to go to Santa Fe.

And an oldie but goodie: Mary Flanner's Scholars and Gentlemen verse, for Mama and her church lady friends if nothing else.

I've read most of these, actually. (Love to see my girl Mimsy on the list for "Snapshots" -- the mother of all future!Klaine fics).

I've never been shy about declaring my love for "The Luckiest" (I'm creepy about it, actually), and "Lovesong" is forever among my favorite verses. 

I loved "It's Not Babysitting" so, so much (did you she just put up a new drabble for that verse/story?). "Everyday" was gorgeous, and the "Crema" verse is adorable. 

The others I have not read, or I've only read pieces here and there. Thank you SO MUCH for this amazing list. I'm excited!
