@halloweenstory That took place about six years before this incident. If I was living in Westeros/Essos and my family arranged a marriage for me for their own gain, I’d be annoyed but not surprised. It happens all the time. Look at Catelyn and Lysa Tully’s marriages- stragetically planned and timed to bring the Riverlands army into Robert’s Rebellion. Look at Cersei’s marriage- strategically done so Robert could use Tywin’s money and Cersei could be queen. Look at Margaery’s marriages- all three of those were strategically arranged. Renly for aid to his campaign (and the added bonus of having Loras around all the time), Joffrey so she could be queen and he could use the Tyrell armies and Tommen for similar reasons. Look at Sansa’s marriage- done so the Lannisters could control the north. So it’s a completely commonplace thing, she ended up loving Drogo and got her start as queen from it. I doubt she’s complaining now. It could have gone a lot worse for her- you can take Cersei, Sansa, Lysa, Selyse and Elia’s words for it.
Anyway, this is entirely beside the point. Which was that there was no need for her to burn down the sacred building and that it was totally ridiculous for the Dothraki to join her.
