Munition type: AGM-114R9X Hellfire II precision guided munition. 99% confidence.

This particular variant does not have a warhead. Instead, it contains the most metal effects package ever inserted into a missile:

Six deployable metallic blades. (exact blade composition unknown; perhaps a Stalinium-unobtanium alloy)

The image provided is of the aftermath of a US airstrike, using an R9X, which killed al-Qaeda deputy leader Abu Khayr al-Masri in Syria in 2017.

Want to use this one in a fic, found the picture ages ago and can't find the name. I think it's a MOP? But all I find there is the GBU 57.

Munition type: Raytheon/General Dynamics GBU-28 5000lb laser guided bomb ("bunker buster"). 99% confidence.

Designed, manufactured (initially from surplus 8in/203mm artillery barrels; new production is purpose-built), and deployed in less than three weeks due to urgent need during Operation Desert Storm. Contains 630lbs of tritonal explosive.

Launch platforms include(d) the F-111F Aardvark and the F-15E Strike Eagle.

Currently being replaced by the JDAM-derived 5000lb GBU-72 (a BLU-138 penetrator warhead with JDAM guidance kit).
