5 Portland Schools to Benefit From PCC Structurals Science Program Donation
PCC Structurals, in partnership with MAD Science (www.madscience.org/portland), has donated 13 on-site field trips to 5 local Portland schools, in 3 school districts. Earl Boyles, Mill Park, Whitcomb, Whitman and Woodmere Elementary schools will be the recipients of these interactive and hands-on education experiences. Mad Science Portland is a leader in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) learning opportunities for Portland, Vancouver and the surrounding areas. The in-class field trip concepts are presented to the students in innovative ways which draw students into the exciting world of possibility and discovery without leaving their school. PCC is a proud sponsor of these and other educationally based outreach and empowerment programs to help our surround communities.
