Regarding the Precureconfessions blog

Hello everyone~

First of all: I want to thank everyone who participated in the Secret Pretty Cure Exchange! I loved seeing everyone’s gifts and I hope everyone is happy with the gift they got~ It always makes me happy to see people get creative with Pretty Cure ^^ 

Now to the important news: I’m sure this won’t come as a surprise to many people, but I’m putting the blog on indefinite hiatus. This means:

this blog won’t be accepting or posting confessions anymore

the precure family will no longer be accepting new members

the blog will stay online so you can go back to read and search for old confessions

the precure family page will stay up, if you want to removed from the family just send us a message

the ask box will be open for questions and those who want to be removed from the precure family page

right now I haven’t decided if this blog will host any future events like the Secret Pretty Cure Exchange, but there will definitely be no Pretty Cure Secret Santa this year

For now the ask box will be closed for a bit, the last confessions in the ask box will be put in queue. 

I’ve decided to put this blog on indefinite hiatus because I simple don’t have the time or energy to keep up with this blog anymore. I’m a full-time student and I’m only going to get busier. It’s not as much fun for me anymore to post confessions, I’d rather spend my free time on things I really love. Rather than having super irregular updates on this blog I decided it’s better to put the blog on hiatus. 

That said, I still love Pretty Cure a lot and I’m still a fan of course! I still be following the franchise, I know the Pretty Cure will forever be my favorite magical girls. 

I also want to say I had a lot of great times with this blog. I started this blog in 2012 and I don’t think back then I would have expected this blog to be active for so long! I think it’s amazing this blog reached 2700+ followers and I loved organising the Secret Pretty Cure Exchanges and the Pretty Cure Secret Santas, I really loved seeing all those gifts and all the happy participants. I also thought it was a nice way to see what other people were thinking about the franchise, even though I didn’t always agree. I hope you had a lot of fun following this blog as well. 

I’m calling this an indefinite hiatus because who knows, I might be back in a the future, although right now I don’t think thats very likely... Maybe I will organise another Secret Pretty Cure Exchange in the future, but I can’t say for sure. 

So for now, you can look forward to those last confessions before the blog will go inactive... Thank you for everything and goodbye! 💖

Here's my gift for @makotokenzaki for the secret pretty cure exchange 2016! I tried something different than I usually do for the eyes to get them to look closer to the way they are in the show. I'd say it was 70% successful, but I hope you like it anyways! (^-^)

My #Pretty Cure Exchange for curewhovian :) When you described one of your hobbies as helping translate for Hungarian PreCure fansubs, you just became this hero in my eyes *-* So I wanted to draw you as a Cure too! You said you loved lemon, lilac, and icy-blue so I went with that color scheme. I imagined her as using some sort of aroma powers, since the lemon is energizing and the lilac is relaxing. I thought it was a nice contrast. I’m sorry if it’s late, but I hope you enjoy it! Keep being a hero to people who wouldn’t be able to watch pretty cure without you! Off Topic!

This is a gift for the precureconfessions blog. I hope she likes it =3! I might make another video or art for the others that’s if the person wants more or anyone else. Anyway I did my best on picking which precure to choose on the video ; _ ; it was hard..they were so many beauties..gah thought I could fit them all but I can’t. Sorry if it has a glitch or anything wrong with it.

A List of Inevitable Precure Confessions

In a team of five with one member being introduced per episode, I need the group transformation by episode 3 or else the entire episode will just feel too long.

The main character has just been introduced within the first 6 minutes of the first episode. I immediately know everything about her and find her flawed for reasons that would probably be resolved later in the series, but I've already made my judgement and do not believe that change and further development is possible.

The title for this show has Precure in it, just like the season before! Isn't that lazy as hell?

They explain the bad guy's goals in the fifth episode, but they haven't beaten the final boss already? Pick up the pace, ladies! You're wasting screentime!

Why isn't it darker?

They're girls, but why are they girly? They should be girls but not also be girly. Girls who are girls are bad for girls.
