I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I NEVER expected this fic to take off. Exploring Asexual!Steve was just a cathartic whimsy of my own, a vicarious indulgence to have Alpha!Billy navigate and work to slot himself into Steve’s comfort and safety.

🥺 I just have a lot of feelings (nothing new) and it means a lot to have so many people turn their eyeballs onto this fic and patiently wait for more 😭.

The first party for which Steve got a flyer shoved into his hands was a turning point for Hawkins High. Nobody knew it, least of all Steve himself, that it was the day he would became King.

Fast forward to Billy Hargrove walking into town, ready to carve his place in it. Except the rules are different here. An omega is king. Alphas follow him around like he polishes the stars and even after Billy breaks the king's keg record, the omega doesn't respond at all to the alpha who wants to be the moon in front of those stars. Then again, Steve Harrington has never responded quite...normally...to any of the alphas.

I just gotta say to everyone who follows me, that you guys are so nice! Seriously, I’ve been here on tumblr over a year and all interactions I’ve gotten are sooooooo kind. I was terrified to put art up here cause I’ve seen others get hate comments. So far I’ve got none. Now I won’t be surprised if I’m the future I’ll get some, but I am so happy that you guys made my first year welcoming!

It’s one of those days where I’m reminded of how many queer people are in the Harringrove fandom, and I just think we’re great (out and proud, hushed and reserved, or exploring and vibing - all are valid).
