“You still here?!” This is what happens every time I show up in the fitness studio to workout 🏋🏽♂️ at 41 weeks pregnant. My daughter has decided to go past her due date(just like her sister) so people are surprised to see me. // Well don’t be. I have until next week for this baby to come on our own before my doctor goes in to evict her via c-section(I cannot be induced because I’ve already had a c-section. Most induction drugs can cause a uterine rupture 👎🏾). So in the meantime, you can find me staying active and strong with 45 mins to an hour of exercise. // I will NOT be staying home to make some people feel more comfortable because they think I may give birth in class🙄Seriously, I won’t! Although one of my instructors thinks that would be kinda cool 😝 I don’t think people are trying to be mean or rude especially since they usually tell me that I’m motivating them. I think they just don’t know what to think or say because their pregnancy journeys have been so very different which is the reason I decided to share my own journey. I want to normalize women working out during pregnancy. Apart from having a big 44” belly in front of me, having to pee a lot and only being able to sleep on my sides, I feel totally fine. Still no pain, discomfort, shortness of breath, heartburn, swelling etc. // Today’s workout: 1hr Orangetheory Fitness which included 30 mins of strength and 25 mins of running, walking & rowing (see my stories). Got questions for me? Shoot it. I’ll try to answer any and everything until my little one arrives. Happy Thursday! . . . . #fitpregnancy #pregnantrunner #41weekspregnant #9monthspregnant #bumpdate #orangetheoryfitness (at Orangetheory Fitness Totowa) https://www.instagram.com/p/BuutjzoB0uK/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1vc1csfd1u36a
