#5!
5: Who/what inspires you?You know, I do not really have names - though I have fondly admired many folks throughout my years! Now, it tends to be more so the attitude of people than their particular style (not to say I don’t admire and find inspiration in various pieces of work, and the people who create them!) But when I can see the passion someone has for their work in not only their work, but their words, it really draws me in- and that is what starts my gears turning.Nowadays, I also tend to just be inspired by particular things more than anything else- which can be anything from color palettes, the ears of a lamb I saw while scrolling about Tumblr, or even how my tea/coffee smelled when I went to take my first morning sip. I guess this is pretty normal for most anyone who is a creator, but we all tend to utilize it in our own ways. And that is what I think I do more than anything else. For example, right now I really really want to draw something involving lavender!

7: Do you have any OCs?The real question would be, what OCs don’t I have?No really, the only reason I still exist is because of OCs. And I have quite a few. Like.. I don’t think I could put them all into an ask. But rest assure, I do have OCs- many of them! They are more or less the only reason I draw, really. I actually have a side blog dedicated to reblogging inspiration pertaining to my various OCs here: coffeespill!8: Do you listen to music when you draw? Favorites?Sometimes! It tends to vary however, since my music tastes change day by day. But I do have a few solid go tos: Our Lady Peace, The Weepies, Bastille, Nickel Creek, Yellowcard, Royksopp, and recently a lot of American Authors! P.S. often I am listening to music according to what song is presently stuck in my head, though! Which could be anything.

12: Any weird artist behaviour you admit doing?Hmm.. well, I am VERY left handed, so I tend to like.. you know the term ‘leadfoot’, and how it’s used for people who have a bad habit of all but crushing the gas pedal in their cars?Well, I have what my family and friends likes to refer to as ‘leadhand’, where I crush my hand as I draw. It’s almost impossible to keep myself from doing it, because it’s just.. what I do when I get focused on what I am drawing. And on one side, it means that I tend to ink very steadily! On the other hand, though, I am prone to really injuring my hand (I have literally worn out wrist braces from use), and I am awful about smearing graphite/wet ink unintentionally. @@; But I just. Cannot stop doing it!Not sure if this is weird, but it certainly does cause me a lotta grief!

Orange: 6 facts about my home townUh.. UH. To be entirely honest, I have moved so much that I don’t really have a ‘hometown.’ I mean, I was born in Peoria, Illinois.. and spent the longest time in a teeny tiny town (like five houses and a church teeny tiny) called Lilly, Illinois.. but I was seven when we moved away, and I don’t remember that much about it! But umm.. what I do remember:1- there were so many fireflies in the summer, they lit up the yard like a prairie fire. I loved to catch them. though I have lived many a place, nowhere else have I seen such an abundance of fireflies.2- there was a lot of corn. So much corn.. corn everywhere.. everything was corn..3- there were also a lot of cows. A dairy farm was nearby, in fact. Many cows.4- the town was literally a few houses and a church for the longest time. I think they built more houses and stuff later on but.. yeah. 5- it was built where a great Native American battle had taken place, and was thought to be haunted because of such. You could find arrowheads and beads just laying in the forests.6- the house across from ours was always abandoned, because it was thought to be haunted (and had been for a very long time.) Locals claimed to see the lights on at night, even though it had no power, and to hear piano music coming from inside. Eventually the house was burned down, and the lot cleared. But even after the house was removed, people claimed to see a little girl wandering the lot, seemingly looking for something.
