My fellow premeds can probably relate to this, but do you ever come across a doctor, premed, or medical student who is so self-absorbed and cocky that you just think, "Few things would give me more joy than to quash your overly expanded ego and teach you some humility and respect for the people who have entrusted their lives to you,"

STOP feeling sorry for yourself. STOP pitying yourself. There are MILLIONS of people In this world that have it worse than you and I. Instead, be thankful and feel blessed you are still breathing, alive and healthy. Many times I find you complaining, and quite frankly I just want to hit you awake! YOU HAVE IT SO GOOD! Do you have ANY IDEA how many people would kill or give anything to be in your shoes? Matter fact, a tiny, piece of your life would make their lives a MUCH better world. Sigh...
I just wish I was someone else's reason for the contraction of their zygomaticus major and orbicularis oris.
