Medblr Santa
Anyone interested and able to contribute a gift anywhere from $10-20 gift, with one homemade token or fuzzy feeling-giving item(bookmark, self-designed card, fancy mason jar you decorated yourself) OR just a gift and a note if you don’t have an hour or two to make something yourself, message me with “I’m interested in the Medblr Santa. My address is < insert address here >”. I will tag posts related to it with “Medblr Santa”. Keep in mind you need to share your address (it could be your throwaway address or something, just somewhere where you can pick up the gift) with me (and I will share it with the person assigned to give you your gift and store it on my computer on a spreadsheet until the middle of January/after gifts have been sent out in case it’s needed). Here’s the whole thing:
Requirements
- $10-20, and the ability to send item(s) of choice to the recipient
- personalized item to send to the recipient (could be a card)
- Holiday medblr cheer! Your gift doesn’t have to be medblr inspired, but it could!

Help spread this around, message people, and/or message me any ideas you may have.
Because I’m not such a popular medblr/don’t blog much medblr things, I need your help to make this a big-ish event. Also, to give this time to get going, Medblr Santa is going to run a little later than actual Santa: deadline to message me and join is December 24 ; I will send out messages telling you your assignment by January 1st, and you should aim to have your gift arrive at the recipient’s place by January 15th or so (feel free to reveal yourself sooner/send anon positive messages or encouragement and/or get to know your person better by going through their blog before then). You don’t have to reveal who you are at the end, but you can. After receiving your gift, if you decide to post, you can tag it Medblr Santa, which I will follow.
If anyone has any suggestions or wants to change the date or anything maybe to take advantage of Christmas time discounts, message me about that, too. To Remain Anonymous: Instead of an address, you can give an email address instead, and if you want to specify which kind of gift card/from where you’d like a gift card. Instead of a cutesy item, maybe a message at Christmas or sometime would be nice. Any other suggestions? Also, this was inspired by Seedcret Santa (found: http://healingdryad.tumblr.com/post/135486465689/pre-med-timelord-aspiringdoctors).
