Well, the Coronavirus pandemic of 2020 continues to escalate.  I was asked if I had ever been through something like this before.  I had to admit the closest I'd come was the Ringworm Scourge of 73 that my school dealt with. (I never got it but a few kids in my class did.  Hey look she's got a hickey.  Oops no, it's ringworm.)  We ran into a friend from down the block today and my wife told him if his family needed anything, that we had plenty so don't be afraid to ask.  At that point, I spoke up:  "Let me explain how it works with us neighbor.  Say you come over and your three boys are hungry and you want to make them a sandwich.  That, of course, translates into six slices of bread.  For those six slices, a fair exchange would be a roll of toilet paper.  Preferably two-ply."  My wife yelled out, "Don't listen to him he's messing with you."  Hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained.  With me being home with this unexpected vacation my wife announced how I was going to have to step up when it comes to meal preparation.  I'm fine with that.  This is a time where I can hone my culinary skills.  Watch out, Gorden Ramsey.  I can't wait to serve my Hot Dog/Spaghetti-o surprise one night. (Suitable for a dinner party I might add.) With being stuck at home I feel I can dig into my less desirable clothes I usually avoid because my wife hates them and refuses to go out with me if I'm wearing any of that selection.  Tomorrow I've already laid out my T-shirt, the one which has "Thick & Chewy" printed on the front. (A T-shirt that has a story.)  My wife got very irritated a few years ago when I wore it out.  Some lady made a suggestive comment and I replied how no matter what she said I was married so she couldn't have a bite of my anchovie.  Wives can get upset about the silliest things.
