5 years ago, with 2 SAT and 1 TOEFL student, #EnglishforAcademicPurposes #PreparingforCollege I am grateful to all the students who year by year 💥 accept the challenge of super intensive English classes; 💥 push themselves beyond limits to discover... a new exercise 🙀 fresh from the tutor’s deadly creativity 😈; 💥 engage in protracted 90-120-min-long brain raking exercises; sometimes translate the weirdest pieces of prose by Russian writers; 💥 rewrite summaries until delirium; write in English more than ever before; 💥 analyze, punctuate, and rephrase 120-word sentences; 💥 turn tedium into excitement; 💥 tolerate my humor to achieve the next level. I am proud to say these students are now pursuing degree studies, have joined the workforce, or doing business. I am proud to say my students are among the brightest men and women I ever met.
