HEADCANONS
If Albus got a galleon for every time someone told him he looked like his father, he’d be rich. It was the standard response when someone first met him. Apparently the dark messy hair was a family trait that spoke for itself. At a certain point he started finishing sentences that started with ‘You look so much like’ (”My mother, yes, I know, we have the same facial structure, I get that all the time” or “My brother, of course, but I hear that happens when you have the same parents”), which got him some unimpressed looks but Albus couldn’t find it in himself to care very much.
Regardless of how he obviously looks like Harry, Albus personally thinks he takes much more after his mother. Other than the mastered Bat-Bogey Hex that he didn’t hesitate using during his Hogwarts years, and the fact that he played chaser for the Slytherin quidditch team, his personality is also more alike Ginny’s than Harry’s. Albus is very independent, quick-witted and has a manipulative streak.
But Albus wasn’t always the way he is now. When he was younger as well as during his first few years at Hogwarts, he was rather shy and withdrawn. He wasn’t good at magic and felt that he couldn’t possibly live up to the expectations that both his parents and all his cousins before him had set. Being sorted into Slytherin had made that worse, because now everyone was wondering why he was different from all the others and nothing showed up as the reason why.
It wasn’t until he decided he should try and be himself instead of someone the others wanted him to be that he opened up a little. When met with mostly positive responses when he stood up for himself, he gradually opened up more. He got better at magic, tried out for the quidditch team and got in, and spoke up more when he previously wouldn’t have. He learned not to be afraid of what consequences his actions would have, for he’d always been afraid of what others thought, and that was not what his life should be about at all.
Being the middle child of Harry Potter out of all people wasn’t easy, though. James was the first child and the heir and Lily was the youngest one, leaving Albus in the awkward middle. Since figuring out he could be himself, he’s been making a conscious effort in standing out from the others by not doing what people expect of him (previously he did it unconsciously, like getting sorted into Slytherin). He took elective classes that others didn’t expect him to (frankly Arithmancy had been a blast) and chose a career that no one saw coming, as far as Albus knew.
When he was sorted into Slytherin and got the predictable side-eyes about being Harry Potter’s son, Albus eventually made sure his house knew him as himself and not as Harry’s son. He insisted they referred to him as ‘Al’ instead of the name that reminded everyone of the late Gryffindor headmaster. Eventually that started to work like a charm and only his family called him Albus. Aware that his peers thought he would get special treatment because he was a Potter, he got in trouble for the sake of it to show that he, too, would have to sit through detention and write lines. In his later Hogwarts years no one side-eyed him any more. He was Al, a Slytherin, one of them, and that was that.

“half of her beauty is her brain”
she almost didn’t write the family after she was sorted into slytherin she was afraid of being an out cast or of being disown but her cousins and brothers convince her to write to everyone else so she did ,they took the news rather well well it took uncle ron more time to come around then everyone else.
she never had favorite cousins ,aunts or uncles she loved them all the same and went to them for different stuff . like if she wanted to know about dragons she would go to charlie , if she wanted to know about how to break a curse she would go to bill, if she wanted to learn french she would go to fleur, ect.
being the youngest at times did have it downside but lily knew how to turn in into a upside .she work her way around stuff at times.
she loves her huge family very much weather the are her brothers , her aunts her uncles or her cousins , she close with each of them in a different way
she is very outspoken and will not be step over .
many people have given her the character title of spitfire since she is literally the definition of one . she is fierce and feisty . she is a force to be recognized with.
now is an adult and is currently is a healer in training , lily loves to help people .

[HE/HIM/HIS] is free to return to their job as a [HEALER]. During their interrogation, they were found to be [OBSERVANT] and [LOYAL], but also could be [STUBBORN] and [CYNICAL]. >>> [jules, 24, cet, she/her, omitted]
hello friends! i’m jules, twenty-four, she/her pronouns and reside in the cet timezone - also known as usually asleep when others are around - and that’s about it for me. since we were encouraged to write up some sort of character intro, this is the headcanon section of my app for some in-depth info about drake:
Draco’s boggart still is, and will probably always be, the Dark Lord. Draco suspects this has a dual reason; he’s both afraid of the Dark Lord as a person (a man that tormented him and made his live so horrible that he was running out of options) and what he embodies (someone targeting Dracos’s family, threatening to take away the ones that he loves the most, and taking away Draco’s power and control). Becoming a husband and a father only made that fear worse, but it also made him realize more it was delusional. The Dark Lord was gone, Potter killed him, and Draco shouldn’t worry any more.
Draco’s patronus would have been an arctic fox. Arctic foxes are known to be adaptable. They blend in with their environment and use it to their advantage. Other than that they’re cunning, sly and persistent. Of course, however, he can’t produce a Partronus. Draco’s space of mind is too dark and negative to ever find a memory positive and happy enough to produce a Patronus. His happiest memories include his wedding to Astoria and holding Scorpius for the first time, but Draco knows that even those memories wouldn’t be strong enough to produce any kind of Patronus; no matter how strong he feels about them, he also knows his headspace will never be happy enough.
On a similar note, Draco is still an Occlumens. Occlumency, of course known as the act of magically closing off one’s mind against Legilimency, has turned from a precaution to keep his secrets and stay alive into a bad habit. As it turned out, Draco got used to being self-contained and able to keep everything to himself rather fast and didn’t want it any other way. Occlumency kept him alive during the war, but also kept him sane after the war. It was easier to suppress what he was feeling or thinking instead of get into it.
Draco went through a number of jobs in his life which are quite a good mirror of how his life went. Directly after graduation from Hogwarts (Draco retook his seventh year in an eighth year until narrowly escaping Azkaban) Draco took a job as potioneer in his parents’ company, Malfoy Apothecary, that he was also a board member of. Unsurprisingly, Draco got bored fast. He was good at brewing potions, but felt like he was sitting on his hands. It meant he went into Law Enforcement (he had the idea ironically) as a Hit Wizard.
He did this job until Astoria and him got married and Astoria’s health started to deteriorate. He wanted to spend whatever time left for Astoria with her and the risks attached were too big. This was especially the case when Scorpius was born. He would be losing one parent, but shouldn’t have to lose two. To make sure he wasn’t sitting on his hands again, Draco helped out his father in the family company. A couple of years prior to Astoria dying Draco took a part-time job at St. Mungo’s. He’d slowly gained more respect for those who worked in healthcare by years of watching them and felt he could contribute too. Astoria also insisted that he needed to keep on living when she died, and a job would force him to get out of bed at least because there were people he needed to help. After Astoria died this turned into a fulltime job, one that Draco has been doing since.
Draco’s belief system absolutely shattered during the war. The more blood was shed, the more Draco came to terms with the idea that there was no difference in blood. Losing the war (again) cemented that for him. If purebloods were as superior as Draco had always been taught, they should have won the war. It was facts that he just couldn’t get around. He didn’t know what to do with that, though, until Draco started discussing the matter with Astoria. She dealt with that knowledge much better than he did. According to her their blood was a privilege, but what set them apart from others was how they dealt with that privilege. It was about what they did, instead of just what they claimed to be. It will always be an uphill battle, but Draco tries remembering that much.
Regardless of how Astoria managed to change him for the better (Draco can admit to that much, and will always say that Astoria was a better person than him and made him want to be better for her), there are things that just aren’t going to change. Draco is cynical, sarcastic, stubborn, impatient and doesn’t suffer fools gladly (or preferably, not at all). He has never stood for anyone talking badly about him or his family or making assumptions about things they don’t know about and he’s not ever going to. Regardless, he tried to match the energy of the person he encounters. If someone is hostile towards him right off, they will receive the same treatment, but if someone approaches him with respect they will receive the same thing unless their tone changes. (This wasn’t always the case, but Draco has recognized he has to pick his battles and there’s no use in being hostile to everyone that was on the other side of the war; he has moved on, and feels other should too, for there is no use in dwelling on the past forever).
