Before Harry could even think about entering the Great Hall, he made his way to the bathroom. But not just any bathroom. The second floor girl’s lavatory, where he, Ron, and Hermione had spent so much of their time at Hogwarts solving mysteries and literally cooking up schemes. He rapped on the ancient, wooden door, hoping to avoid running into any Hogwarts students who still had a month left of classes ahead of them. When no one answered, he slowly crept inside, and called out, “Is there anyone in here? Well, besides Myrtle, of course.”
But not even the shrieking voice of Moaning Myrtle called back to him. “I’m coming in.” Closing the door behind him, Harry entered the bathroom and made his way over to one of the mirrors, staring into his reflection. He observed his own circular glasses. The same ones that Hermione had repaired that first day on the train. He had purchased other glasses since then, but he thought it fitting to don the original pair on this unfortunate day. He surveyed the rest of his face, which had once transformed into the face of Gregory Goyle, due to the Polyjuice Potion that Hermione had made herself in their second year. All these years, and Harry knew there wasn’t an inch of himself that didn’t hold a story about the late, great Hermione Granger.
He began to weep, which he promised himself he wouldn’t do, especially during the eulogy, but he couldn’t fight the overwhelming urge anymore. He removed his glasses and pressed his forehead against the mirror. “You were the best of us,” Harry murmured through his low, hoarse shrieks. “You were the best and now you’re gone.” Harry sniffled, through some sink water in his face, and put his glasses back on. He could not be missing for too long, or the whole bloody Ministry would come looking for him. The last thing they needed was two dead Ministers in the course of one week.
Upon exiting the bathroom and shuffling down the stairs, Harry caught sight of a familiar face walking toward him, and attempted his best everything-is-okay face. “Just popped upstairs for a walk around the castle. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been here. How are you?”
Lily was in the great hall . Lily didn’t think she would be back at hogwarts so soon after she had graduated especially for a funeral more specifically one for a family member, one of her beloved aunts was gone. Lily didn’t know what she should feel . Lily was beyond worried nobody was safe anymore who would be next, she couldn’t handle another family member death that includes any more of her aunts, her uncles, her cousins, her father, mother, and both of her brothers . All lily could do was stare at the Gryffindor table, Lily tried so hard not to cry at the funeral but after three minutes of staring at the Gryffindor table from her former house table which was all away cross the room .She could feels tears coming and she wasn’t going to cry in a room filled with people so she gets up from the Slytherin table and rushes out with tears streaming down her face, she knew she was a mess and she didn’t care . It wasn’t until she heard footsteps down the next hall she wipes her tears away and walks towards the noise. She didn’t know if she was just being plain stupid walking towards the sound of footsteps but who could be out here when everyone was inside or so she thought. She didn’t scan the room to see who was in the great hall or who wasn’t so it came as a surprise when she turned the corner that the person behind the footsteps was her father. She was happy to know someone didn’t sneak into hogwarts. “Daddy its been more then a couple of years since you where here. A couple of years it like two three four years not more then a decade. “ Lily didn’t know how to answer the question. She could easily lie or she could tell the truth . “I am mess , i don’t understand how someone could do this”
