The way Liv/Helen went from two women ....kinda getting a gay vibe. To oh one of them is actually into women on account of the really cool new girlfriend. To turns out the other one is also into women she's just also really closeted about it which we apparently weren't imagining for 8 years. So they're both into women they're just not talking to each other about it. Cool. Crazy making but whatever. To now oh I guess Helen is in love with Liv we're just also still not talking about it

The thing is. The thing is. we COULD have a moving episode about how light immortalises us on film and how that doesn't stop us dying (some would even argue it kills us instantly); about how every strip of film is a series of images captured in sequence, each one trapping us a little bit differently; about how every episode of every TV show carries the past within it, in its costumes and its music and its people. And we could link that to doctor who itself, how it is often literally about time travel but always necessarily metaphorically too, because ALL film is time travel in its very nature.

Or we could have a god from beyond our universe take on the form of a 2D cartoon who gets blasted into space and honestly I'm here for it
