Happy New Year Steph. First time caller long time listener.. err I mean reader.

I'm looking for a fic I read 3-4 years ago. Sherlock was the leader of a motorcycle greaser gang and John is working at the local hangout. Think it's set in the 50's. Kind of remember John serving on roller skates.

Sherlock always terrorizes the new servers, but actually likes John (of course). Think he took him (literally) in the back behind the kitchen?

Ugh.. my memory is fuzzy. But that's the general gist. I could be wrong. Any help in reconnecting with the gorgeous piece of slutty goodness would be appreciated.

Chapter 3 of my ongoing self-feeding fic mixing three of my favourite concepts: BAMF!Sebastian Moran, Nerd!Jim Moriarty and homosexuals in the Outisders. Chapter 3 can be summed up in one sentence: Jim JUST wants to tutor, instead he’s dealing with John and Sebastian. (also, Smarter than BBC gave him credit for-John Watson is another thing I need to see more. So I did it myself.)

I Need Opinions

I'm going to Motor City Comic Con and I want to do a punklock (punk AU Sherlock Holmes) closet cosplay because I have pretty much everything I need and I think doing the tattoos will be fun.

The dillemma: I recently shaved my head for cancer research and I don't have a lot of hair at the moment. Should I try to find a wig? Should I just dye what hair I do have dark? Or should I just leave it be? (Side note: my hair is dark blonde)

I appreciate any input.

Growing up in the age of drive-in movies, leather jackets, and diners and soda shops on every corner sounds pretty picturesque, but the 1950s present plenty of challenges as well, and falling in love with your best friend? Well, that’s never easy.

Review: I swear I thought I had already recced this but apparently I have not. This is a fluff and angst fic that jumps between when John and Sherlock first met as children to when they’re in high school, estranged from each other. With the flashbacks we see their childhood and what happened that made them separate like they did. I really liked this! The situation that separated them isn’t really either of their faults, one of them didn’t “do the other wrong” or anything. Characterization is spot on and I love Irene’s meddling.
