“Greetings, I’ve come for the blessing ceremony. I trust her condition hasn’t worsened during the technical repairs?”
She bowed her head and raised a hand sideways before her face. The length of her tied white coat trailed along the floor. It piled atop her robes and hakama to bloat her in the tight corridors. Through the windows poured in sunlight that turned the heat into an infernal nightmare. She could smell the salty breeze even here as it stung her nose. From somewhere overhead the cries of seagulls pierced the ceiling. They rang in her ears and chipped her focus. The solid gold dragon on her headpiece dug into her skull. It gave the impression of a comical bobble head only saved by it’s sacred reverence. Her tolerant, reassuring smile masked a depleting patience. She gripped the kagura suzu in her hand.
“Of course no matter her current state, I’ll fix her in no time!”
Her voice pressed forcefully as if to assure her flailing spirit.
