I would laugh so hard. And Derek’s just trying to figure out how to say the words cause he doesn’t want to scare Spencer, but he wants him to know that there’s something there.

15. Kiss in the Rain
Their last cast had been particularly brutal. They were just getting back to the BAU and Derek was arguing internally over whether or not he should tell Spencer of his real feelings. Having almost lost one of their own after a bullet had grazed right past Kate’s ear, he knew that it would have to be sooner over later. The only problem was that Derek was new to this feelings thing and he didn’t know how to put it into words.
As they headed out for the night, he noticed that it was raining quite heavily and he made his decision then and there. Looking over to Spencer, and noticing that they were alone, he made his move. Walking up to the man, he wrapped his arm around the younger agent’s neck and pulled him close, letting their lips connect. If that didn’t get the message across clearly, Derek had no idea what would.

If Nobody Believed In You || Closed
It had been a rather slow day, given what day of the week it was, and Derek was getting bored. He knew there would be down times and that he should focus on the paperwork he was lagging behind on, but he didn’t really feel like doing that. He wanted something else; something to occupy his time and give him something interesting to work on.
It was with this thought that he heard the door to the station opening and heard a man’s voice talking to the front desk clerk. He stood up and made his way to the front, wanting to be the first to help if there was a potential case coming into them right now. It was a dog-eat-dog fight on days like this to see who was going to be the person taking the next report and starting an investigation, if need be.
Derek did his best not to literally run to the front of the police station, but he was walking quickly and was happy to see he was the first person up there. Walking over to where the person was standing, he offered his hand for a handshake. “Officer Morgan,” he gave a quick introduction, leaning over to whisper to the receptionist that he would take it from there. “Can I help you with something?” he added, deciding it would be best to make sure the guy was actually there to file a report.
