💙❤️ @pressingmattersmag It’s print challenge time again! It’s always a joy to see your entries and this time around we’re asking for handmade prints using Blue and Red inks. Something magic happens when two colours overlap to make a third - a sort of alchemy that makes the artwork. It’ll be super interesting to see what you all come up with…! This is an open call to any printmakers who’d like to get involved – a chance to have your print featured as our winning challenge artwork or as part of a showcase of brilliantly creative submissions in the January 2023 edition of Pressing Matters magazine. So, what are the rules? - Create a handmade print using Blue and Red inks (or just blue or just red) in the printmaking technique of your choice, printed on white paper. - Your overall print (paper size) must be at least A4 and in portrait orientation How do you share your submission? - Post a clear image of your submission to your Instagram account, including the hashtag #pressingmattersinsert21 in the text of your post ➡️ Also make sure you tag the image with @pressingmattersmag in submission post too ⬅️ The challenge will be live throughout November and will end on the 30th November. Any posts tagged and added after this date will not be considered. In early December we’ll select our favourite submission as our winning artwork and we’ll also feature a selection of entries which also catch our eye to appear in Issue 21. If your artwork is selected, we’ll be in touch (via DM initially) to request hi-res artwork of your print, for inclusion in the magazine.
