"AIN'T NO PAPA LIKE THE ONE I GOT! " Happy Father's Day to all the ponytail twisting, diaper changing, homework helping, MasterChef, Fix-It Duck, soccer dads out there. There is a blessing in staying true to your children. Last year this time, my dad could only blink his eyes to communicate. He was hooked up to all types of machines. My aunts were there with him when we daughters couldn't be. He was never alone or abandoned. Today, he's mobile, and very proud to be a dad of a houseful of girls!! (This is how it should be.) Today we attended church with him and had a #cookout. The dad's and #sons cooked much of the food.
