Last evening in #Napa - dinner at #PressNapaValley in #StHelena. Under the leadership of Executive Chef Philip Tessier (former French Laundry executive sous chef), Press highlights Napa Valley cuisine, and only features Napa Valley wines. The restaurant has been dubbed “where the locals go,” so definitely consider eating here when in the #NapaValley! . For appetizer, I had the #kusshioysters with cucumber, lemon, and whipped horseradish (not my favorite); for entrees, I had the #wagyuribeye with potato-crusted white asparagus, and Alvin and Vanessa shared the 60-day #tomahawk with mushroom hollandaise; and we did not have room for dessert. I had one of the best cocktails I had ever had, a grapefruit-infused Grey Goose Vodka concoction, and we shared a bottle of #heitzcellars cab sauv. Our server was very friendly and professional, our steaks were cooked to perfection, and the ambiance, although bustling with the crowds, was very relaxing.
