A hearty beef stew cooked in the Instant Pot with safety in mind. Follow these essential safety tips to ensure a delicious and safe cooking experience.
Ingredients: 2 lbs beef stew meat, cubed. 1 cup carrots, chopped. 1 cup potatoes, diced. 1 cup onions, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 cups beef broth. 1 tsp thyme. 1 tsp rosemary. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Make sure that the sealing ring for the Instant Pot is in the right place. Do not put too much in the Instant Pot. Follow the line that says "maximum fill." Make sure you have enough liquid. At least 2 cups of beef broth should be used in this recipe. After cooking, don't open the Instant Pot right away. Let it happen on its own for 10 minutes. When letting steam out by hand, be careful. Face and hands should not touch the steam vent. Don't cook foods that foam or are starchy, like oatmeal or pasta, without making the right changes. Cleaning the Instant Pot valve often will keep it from getting clogged and make sure the pressure releases properly. To keep the seal tight, check and replace the sealing ring every so often. Follow the maintenance and safety instructions given by the manufacturer.
