Breathing out a small sigh, Rei pulled a leg up to press his forehead to his knee. For all his discomfort around the fire wielder, he bore no ill will towards him...At the moment though, Lea was...Well Lea was all he had.
“How do you handle, everything that happened before?” His voice sounds weak, almost making him truly sound like a frightened child. There are some nights where all he could think about was the entirety of his life in Castle Oblivion. Other times where he just felt guilt for all the times he attacked Sora.
Then he was wiping at his face with the red part of his glove. “Nothing I can say...I don’t think?”
The only answer for a moment is a small hum as Roxas makes his way to grab a few towels -translation grab his only two towels-, followed by a rough shake of his head to dislodge as much of the water weighing down as possible. “You’re probably right...Damn. Well at least we’ve got a storm.” Despite the steam rising from the Flurry, the Nobody chucked one of the pieces of thin, absorbent cloth at him.
Then there’s another shake of his head, though it’s at that crummy pun rather than the water still clinging to him. “Dry off and sit?”
She stopped rubbing her eyes just long enough to take his hand.
“... Will you stay?” she asked. She felt childish to admit it, but she didn’t like beyond alone in a dark place, even just for a quick nap. “Please?”
✣ 「 ヴェン」 ❦❧ ─ “A shark?! Are you trying to pick a fight with me?” Hamster is ONE thing, but being compared to a shark? Now that was a new one. “Maybe I should bite you harder.” Stuck his tongue out and grinned widely. “But Zack. It’s really nice to see you again. It’s a relief to know that you’re okay.” There’s this feeling in his Heart, it tells him something awful had happened to his friend... the question was; what?
My muse has just been slapped across the face in front of yours…
how does your muse react?
@pretiumvitae
By the time that Joshua had grabbed hold of his attacker, it was already too late. There was no real pain associated with the slap, after all, the poor raven haired boy had been hit harder prior to this point. No, there was no real pain. Rather, it was the act of someone else’s hand slammed against his own body that triggered him severely. Someone hitting him. His throat immediately began to close up.
Vanitas doesn’t even remember collapsing to the ground, the world just seemed to be falling all around him. He tries to cry out to Joshua when he notices the attacker bolting out of there, but his cry turns into wheezes. Soon enough, he loses sight of Joshua, instead, finding himself back in the Keyblade Graveyard once again.
He can feel the dust rolling around on the ground and the smell of rusting Keyblades. The sky is covered by clouds, but it never seemed to rain in that World. Vanitas already feels the pain, blood rolling down the side of his face as he faces Xehanort, shakily holding Void Gear up. The exhaustion is already rocking his body to the point that he could barely move, but Xehanort holds onto No Name.
“Plea-Please Father...I-I can’t move...please, let me rest.” Vanitas pleads with the elder as he finds his body fall down to his knees.
Xehanort frowns at this and narrowed his eyes on Vanitas. “You can’t rest...not until you perform the spell correctly.”
Vanitas shakes his head. “Please Father...let me try in the morning. I need to-.”
Suddenly, Xehanort zooms in front of him and grabs him by the throat, lifting him up with ease. Vanitas tried to scream out, but found that the other’s grip was strong. “Useless....weak...that is all you will ever be boy unless you train. You want be whole again, don’t you?”
“Ye-Yes...Fa-Father...” Vanitas whimpered softly. He feels some tears begin to enter his eyes.
That’s when rage appeared in his eyes and Vanitas was tossed to the ground. In reality, Vanitas has a distant look in his eyes and his nails are digging into cement, making cracks into the cement beneath him. He tries to breathe through his mouth, but it’s failing miserably. Tears are trickling down his cheeks as he feels the pain of Xehanort’s boot slamming into his side and then into his face.
The tears roll down his cheeks as he stares into the distance, stuck in the flashback. Vanitas hears his own cries and the sound of bones cracking and one phrase spoken.
“Tears for the weak!”
All around him, his distress and the Darkness is creating his Unversed, but instead, it’s one Unversed, his Remnant, looking almost exactly like him but black and white. It also wielded a black and white Void Gear. It looked toward Joshua before it looked in the direction of where Vanitas’ attacker went before taking off in that direction.
