“Why would I need you to beat the snot outta someone?”
“Y’know, now ya mention it... I don’t really know! Ya look like ya got into a scuffle and I think yer pops might do me in if he thought I didn’t at least take a swing at the guy. Not that ya can’t take care o’ yerself. Let’s just say I just know how all o’ that protective older male crap goes, get me?”
He let out a short laugh.
“But hey, maybe not, though, yeah? I been off the radar long enough, maybe dear ol’ dad’s forgotten about me!”
