Practice painting for my first cars series piece!

I definitely learned a lot from this miniature version. I like how the actual falling rain came out and think I’ll be able to replicate that on the full sized one. I also like the composition and the beginnings of what I’ve got for the rain interacting with the metallic surfaces.

But I want to work on that lighting some more. I’ll need to take a reference photo of my die cast with the direction and intensity of light that I want that way I’m not guessing at it. I need to do better with the angles of the car, especially in that back wheel. And I’d like to improve on the rain bouncing off of him.

But overall I’m super excited for the final version!!!

Take a good look at it white it looks all neat, clean, and polished, bois.  Won’t be long before I totally wreck this gorgeous, perfect thing. It’ll be a total mess by nightfall.  

Good chance I might drive the car into something too.
