Day 5 Floppy Ears

Villain is notorious, and has captured several characters who are associated with Hero’s team. They’re chained, maybe hands suspended from the ceiling.

When the door opens and Villain comes in, his eyes immediately fall on Pretty Character, and he looks dangerously focused as he strides across the room and pushes his lips against hers. The other characters are freaking out as he releases her chains and orders the guards to bring her to his room. Villain doesn’t even look at the other characters. They’re afraid for her, calling after him, cursing, he doesn’t even hear it.

But the second they’re alone, Villain wraps Pretty Character in a fierce hug. Voice trembling, kissing her neck tearfully, he says, “I was so worried about you.” And she sobs in joy at being home.

But of course, it’s emotional whump for the Hero’s team, who don’t know about her real leanings and think she’s in trouble.

How did they get separated? Was the Hero forcing her to be with their team? was she spying? Has she gotten attached to the Hero’s team and will now try to get Villain to negotiate peace? Did she and Villain have a fight and she ran away? Are they really a healthy couple or is there even more at play?
