watching a stream of detective pikachu returns bc its been rotting in my watch later playlist for a year, and glad to see the sequel is as unbearably uncanny and boring as the first game

Somehow, HM gets LB'S earrings, the akuma destroyed a bunch of stuff, yada yada yada, Marinette falls to her death into the seine. No one knows it was her though, not even CN. And then surprisingly, Paris sees the miraculous cure take effect, HM does the butterfly thing again and informs the people that he has no intentions of permanently harming them, and he will cleanse the city again after obtaining CN's ring. Thoughts?

The city would probably believe him, and Chat noir would be hunted down.

Chat noir however is not gonna yield. He is Hella determined to get the LB miraculous back. And he wants HM DEAD AS F***.

If she is alive, she gets a new Kwami and is ready to square up against hawkmoth. Chat noir finding out his lady is alive, is a much needed relief.
