Xarann Dalael, born into a good family within the Underdark, was destined for greatness within society, gifted with handsome features, a shrewd intelligence and an insightful eye. However, when he turned fourteen, his fortune changed and he was disgraced, his family killed and his whole life was thrown upside down: he grew horns. Forced then to hide, steal and cheat to survive, Xarann had to leave the Underdark with nothing on his back (thanks, sunlight) and a deep hatred for the race that he believed were at the root cause of his misfortune: Tieflings.
