Me: Hey... ummm... I've started to wonder if maybe I find men attractive.

Lady Friend: Okay.

Me: But I mean I don't know. Guys aren't sexualized and objectified the same way as women. Like when I was a kid I kinda bought into a lot of unfortunate "conventionally attractive" stuff for women that I'm still dismantling and aren't present in my brain for men... but a lot of them have muscles that feel like coiled steel under velvet, and they smell, and they're kind of assertive. I don't know.

Lady Friend: I mean maybe? Have you tried dating one?

Me: Not recently. But I hear there are a LOT of straight guys looking for girls to date out there. I think if I can find one who finds me attractive but also respects me, shares my interests, seems kinda non-threateningly attractive, and doesn't unintentionally say things that ruin the mood... then yeah! I think I'd really like to see how it goes!
