[Posted 18 May 2015] though i turned away from the mountain range peaks continued to gleam in my peripheries. nothing grows in the valley. the woods are filled with cloystered trees that bear no scent; flowers wilt and stones speak in more delightful tongues than the rivers or rains. the skies are bleached, the clouds are tired: they are plurals and i long (hands clasped, kneeling) to find something – anything! – that can give these slow days flavour. and then, from the most unexpected source, you descend, but you are not armed with a wand that will change the seasons. you direct my gaze to the mountain range, to the snowy crests and the golden sun peeking from behind the figures that were my fears.

After yesterday's torrential rain, hailstones and skeletal lightning, today is waaaayy nicer. Blue sky, cold air, misty... Much nicer vibes.
