Taking elaborate phonecalls in company is a no go. I fully agree.

Glad you agree, Cause. I don’t mind if it is or could be something important (like when I’ve been out with friends with babies at home) - but even then, you answer and, unless it require you to leave, you deal with it quickly.

One time I actually had a friend say (when the person had clearly asked if they were busy), ‘oh no, it’s fine, just out to lunch with a friend’! And proceeded to chat for a good five minutes!

I used to draw and paint a lot when I was younger - I kind of lost motivation and confidence after some not-so-great experiences with college level art courses, and then I took a few design courses in my twenties. I’ve been doing ceramics for the last twelve years, mostly functional stuff like bowls and mugs (although I haven’t had much time in the last few months due to grad school). I still love drawing, though, and can really get into a zone while I’m doing it. Definitely going back to it as soon as I’m not constantly writing something or other. :)
