Do you know why Willa's contract was so much less last year? I kind of wonder if she wants out because they clearly don't treat their actors well unless you're Emily or Stephen.

I don’t know what her reasoning is, but Willa apparently asked at the end of Season 4 if she could reduce her number of episodes a year, and that’s why she was in 14/23 for Season 5. Since she hasn’t filmed since the season premiere, I can only assume she has a similar contract (or even shorter, as sometimes it’s the carry-over episodes, which would leave her with 9 this season). I definitely think she’ll be done after this season. The contracts are up for negotiations soon, and she’ll probably want out. I just hope they write her off well, and don’t resort to a shock death for her. Let Roy come back, and let them be happy.

Ugh. That's such bullshit. I don't even really like the Spuffy ship, but... people who say this tend to judge them on the way Spike behaved before getting this soul? when... look at what Angel did sans soul? And look at how the relationship was after Spike got his soul? Ugh... people can just fuck off and you're not trash.

I am bisexual, and I sort of ship Spuffy, even though I do acknowledge and understand that it wasn't a healthy relationship and that the time he tried to rape her was not okay and shouldn't be excused at all. I also ship Willow/Tara. Always missed Oz though. Don't have anyone irl or online to discuss Buffy with at the moment really, so if anyone wants to become mutuals let me know!

I also acknowledge all the problematic stuff about Spuffy, but it doesn’t deter me from enjoying other aspects of the ship, you know? So I definitely get what you mean.

YES. The SPN writers are the fucking worst with their misogyny.

they are. i feel like they’ve tried to get better over the past couple of years but the problem is that the writers’ room is mostly full of men who lack the ability to truly understand what misogyny even is so they definitely don’t understand how to correct it.

I wouldn't be surprised either, which sucks because Willa has grown into an amazing actress and has done so much with Thea's character arcs even when the writers haven't given her much to work with. But I totally agree that she should just go off with Roy and live happily ever after in offscreenville.

Personally, I think she’s done being a series regular character (unless this 14/23 contract is something that works best for her). I wouldn’t be surprised if this is her last season as a regular. But I don’t think she’d drop the show like a bag of shit and never return. I’m sure she’d make appearances. And I absolutely adore the character of Thea Queen. She deserves a happy ending, whether that’s coming this season, or somewhere else down the line.

What sort of armor are you making??

I’m actually not entirely sure. I was gonna make something very Black Canary inspired but I started wanting to go a bit more medieval(probably because Ren Fest is coming up) so I’d have to completely change my initial plans of how I was gonna go about it, but instead of thinking and sketching, I ended up keeling over for a few hours rewatching The Flash because my cramps got the better of me.
