Hello world, my name is Heather and I suppose I best give you a little background on me. I’m a 23year old cancer fighter. I was diagnosed with the rare and fast growing Ewings Sarcoma in October 2012 and have been battling through chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery and numerous hospital visits since. Unfortunately my cancer is just as stubborn as me and has made itself quite at home all over my body which means it’s unlikely I will win my battle but I’ve far from given up yet. I’ve found struggles along the way with no answers and decided I’d like to try stop any other girl or woman going through the same difficulties.
So the purpose of this blog is to share my tips, tricks and hacks mainly in beauty that I’ve learnt on my journey through cancer with girls and women going through similar situations to my own. I think it’s SO important through any part of dealing with cancer to still feel confident, pretty and beautiful. I hope this blog reaches and helps individuals deal with the smallest of problems that can feel such big challenges that nobody prepares you for.
So keep your eyes pealed for my little beauty and health posts! I hope to post around once a week with a new trick of the trade as such but I am new to the world of blogging so bare with me! Feel free to fire any questions, suggestions or feedback I can try to help with its all appreciated.
