Had a mega craving for Patacones, a twice fried plantain dish from Columbia that featured prominently in many meals during my recent Panamanian adventure. This is me calling an uber, Bastimentos style. It's water taxi to get anywhere, so you stand on the end of your dock, and hold up the flag. Across from where I'm at is Old Bank, and during the day, there is a dude gunning it over within 3 minutes. After dark... a little less reliable 🤦🏻‍♂️ but so my fun, predictable prices always, and such nice folks, this place is pretty magical ✨🚕🏝 #bastimentos #panama #prettymuchthebest (at Bastimentos)

Hello from paradise. Although not without its dangers, two Panama tourist police watching over due to the recent events of a young female tourist being found dead on the path to red frog beach 3 weeks ago.
