hey, im a dumb white girl so theres the context for my question. so ever since i was little i always saw headscarves and stuff to be so elegant and beautiful. so you think we could ever evolve socially to the point where wearing them wouldnt be cultural apropriation

I can only speak from a Muslim perspective and my personal views, but my personal opinion I’m generally uncomfortable with people who aren’t Muslims wearing a muslim-style headscarf for fashion reasons. Because hijab isn’t just a fashion choice, it’s religious and cultural and someone who isn’t Muslim wearing it doesn’t understand or ignores the meaning behind it. I wouldn’t want a future where people who aren’t muslims wore headscarves like I do.

There are ways to dress modestly or use scarves for fashion that aren’t appropriating.

There are plenty of fashions I see as beautiful but I don’t wear because it’s not my culture and not my place. You can think muslimahs have beautiful fashion and scarves, but also respect the meaning behind them.

I’m slowly getting better - it’s a long, long process. Some days are worse than others. Some days I still go to text him, only to realize he’s gone.That sort of thing.Other days, I feel more inspired.But I’m definitely a little better than I was two years ago :) Thanks for asking <3 not many do

whats the best color combo

Blue and orange.

Same color as my Spartan from Halo 3 onward and same color as all my Destiny/Destiny 2 Warlocks.

Been using that color combo since I was a teenager.
