What a fool I was to think that you could be summed up in a word, and in a word that meant calm. How blind I was, to think that you were a calm lake, soft as down, even though you are loud and fierce and fun. No, you're a knife. Words and eyes as sharp and break as daybreak cutting the world into something definable, something true. No, you're dust. An impact shaken. The feeling of closing a book shut, becoming a messenger of words and stories and truth and light. I was wrong. We were volcanoes around you, erupting laughter as you shook the earth with your unfault lines-- the fault is all mine, you see, for you're clarely who you need to be.
what’s in a name, when a clare by any other would be as sweet?//happy late birthday clare @ministryofmaqic!!
People never write poems about the good times until they miss them-- never sing songs about the smiles until they're gone-- and god, what kind of race are we where we cannot love what we have while it is here? and where the blush on my cheeks and the giggle in my voice is better as a gravestone than a present memory? What is the point of life if happiness is fleeting and only here to be mourned? I feel like the color pink, and I would rather be pink than your black-and-blue, black-and-blue. I am going to be happy, even if I am poemless. I would rather be an unsung shade of raspberry than a beautiful disaster who tastes rotten.

I would make cheesy jokes with you but I'm not very Gouda at it...
No, havarti a go at it! I’d have been bleu if it had been just me.
