Favorite Canon Relationship: at the end of the day probably Stefan x Rebekah. I also enjoyed all of Katherine’s ships, Josie x Penelope, Klaurora and Klayley (although the latter I’ve seen be counted as canon And noncanon by different people), Janna, and I have nebulous enjoyment of other couples (SC KC and on rewatch SE) but I do just have an enduring soft spot for Stebekah.

Favorite Non-Canon Relationships: Bonnie x Damon, Hope x Lizzie, Elena x Rebekah, Hope x Josie when detached from the fandom, Klaus x Hayley again, Katherine x Elena, Klaus x Stefan, Elena x Elijah.

Favorite Bad Guys: Katherine is obviously my favorite and Klaus is obviously a favorite but in terms of bad guys who aren’t around for as long as them I loved Qetsiyah and Aurora.

Favorite Vampire with no humanity: .. see, I really really like Elena Hope’s and Caroline’s switch-off versions for different reasons but I find switch-off Elena and Hope more interesting and fun to watch than switch-off Caroline, yet also Caroline and Hope are the characters where I feel like my interpretation of their NH versions behavior is consistent with the shows interpretation of it whereas my thoughts on Elena’s probably differ a lot more from the writers thoughts, but also Elena’s is the one that lives in my brain the most and I’ve used her arc for writing inspo which I haven’t for the others so.. I’ll say Elena rn, but it could be Hope if I rewatched s4 of leg of seas.

Characters I will defend forever: Barolena

Favorite morally gray disasters: like Bella said morally gray is really really murky and subjective in this verse. Obviously my favorite character in the verse is Katherine who is an anti villain. If you exclude chars like Klaus/Rebekah (who I love) and Elijah/Kol (who I don’t love) who were introduced as antagonists but became protagonists, then I’d say some of the more *morally gray* protagonists are Elena Josie and Freya and I like all of them.

Favorite doomed dynamic: a lot of Mikaelson family dynamics, Klaus and Rebekah, Klaus and Hope, Hayley and Hope etc. also Jeremy x Anna

Favorite lines that live in your head:

many Katherine lines that I am too lazy to list, also a lot of Lizzie Saltzman’s insults for people which I’m also too lazy to list.

Favorite friendship: Marcel’s relationships with Hope and Davina are friendships I enjoy a lot without any major caveats whereas relationships like Bonlena probably get more emotion/enjoyment from me in their best moments but I do have a lot more qualms with their writing overall.

Favorite TVD era: s1-3, 2 specifically is my favorite, but there are also things about s6 of TVD that I really love which are not in any other season even the early ones so it gets an honorable mention.

Willow Rosenberg

How I feel about this character: I love her very much she's on of my all time favorites and incredibly interesting to dissect and analyze, she is also a character I see a lot of myself in including that we share a lot of the same negative traits and so she drives me a lil insane sometimes but not in a way that interferes with me loving her

All the people I ship romantically with this character: I feel like I'm most vocal about being a Faith x Willow shipper as someone with vision and taste, but emotionally speaking I ship her with Tara the most so it goes Tara then Faith then Anya in terms of people I actively ship her with. And sometimes I enjoy shipping her with Buffy or Cordelia but I enjoy those both as gen dynamics as well. Oh and Willow x Vamp Willow is very hot.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Buffy again, her dynamic with Giles is fascinating and I also enjoy the parallels between her and Spike and the little scenes they share here and there, and Dawn although that is more of an extension of my love for Tara and Dawn's relationship. But obviously the ultimate pairing is Willow x magic / knowledge

My unpopular opinion about this character: See when I first joined the fandom I would've had quite a bit to say on this topic but I feel like those opinions are not as unpopular. I guess the one that applies best currently is that I don't hate the magic=addiction metaphor and although I won't pretend it's executed flawlessly it's not something i would personally remove from her arc / the pros of that arc outweigh the cons to me.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I would rewrite The Killer in Me to actually get to the heart of the Willow-Warren foil dynamic or alternately have her take on Taras image instead.

Andrew Wells

How I feel about this character: I really dislike him tbh

My non-romantic OTP for this character: I enjoyed some scenes with him and Anya?

My unpopular opinion about this character: I don't think disliking him is unpopular on tumblr but ik it is in mainstream

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: the 'Andrew is straight' reveal in ats s5 is. really bad. as I've said I don't like his character much but I feel like that's something I'd say even if I did like him.

Robin Wood

How I feel about this character: I like him and find him sympathetic although my feelings about him aren't very strong. As a lucifer fan I do think D.B. Woodside's talent is underutilized in this role but he does the most with what he's given

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Nikki Wood

My unpopular opinion about this character: I haven't rewatched an s7 ep that isn't CWDP in ages and so can't convey one rn

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I think the Nikki Wood reveal should have happened earlier in the season because his char is so much more interesting with that context, and if the show was always going to handle the Wood v Spike conflict in the v tone deaf way it did then getting it out of the way earlier could've left more time for more interesting storylines involving him afterwards.

I feel like my lunch and dinner orders change too much depending on the place and my moods for me to answer but when I’m going out for breakfast or brunch I have certain go-to’s: avacado toast with fried eggs or crepes or waffles usually with a fruit bowl on the side, with coffee or hot chocolate in cold weather and iced tea in hot weather

I’m hyperfixating on The Raven Cycle and The Shadowhunter Chronicles, but I am also thinking about the OTH girls quite a bit. But none of those are technically *new* hyper fixations so.. Lana Lang I guess. I did start making a Pinterest board for her while still on s4 so

well lavender and sage make me feel comforted

it depends a little on where I am and what I’m doing, these days I feel like I enjoy myself most in the evenings

I work part time at an NGO (work is mostly proofreading and research) and do freelance work for other companies remotely (work is mostly editing and writing)
