Then he was suspicious. “Why would you need something of mine? There’s nothing in my possession that can get me in trouble, if that’s what you're after.”Orla tsked in exasperation. “It makes sense you’d take this stray on instead of a more likable one, like Henry.” “It’s not that I don’t like Henry,” said Gansey. You do? Thought Adam. He couldn’t imagine why. “He is simply.. overly curious. That is why I can not be his friend.” “This one is curious too.”“Yes, however he’s less likely to share the information.” Orla tapped her long black and yellow nails on the table. “I’m waiting, pretty boy.” Adam did not want to, but he rummaged in his bag for something that would do the trick. “Here is my binder.”Orla made a face. “It will do.” Adam passed it over to her, and she held it in her hand while furrowing her brow in concentration. Eventually, she passed it back to Gansey. “He has a knack for getting into trouble, I’ll say that. But you can keep him for now.” She blew Adam a kiss on her way out of the cafeteria.”

since I am rewatching Gossip Girl to see how I feel about it now (since I watched it in high school when I was less into / had seen less teen dramas and it’s one of the three I’ve depreferenced along with teen wolf and riverdale) am going to do my trc comparisons with it (as of s1 and what I remember down the line).
