#703.5 - Born from temperatures and pressures deep underground, Carbink sleep beneath the surface for hundreds of millions of years after their birth. They are occasionally found during the excavation of caves, though it also said that deep beneath the surface of the world, a pack of Carbink live with their queen in a kingdom of jewels. Carbink do not normally evolve, however, it is believed that when a group of Carbink gather together without a leader, one of the Carbink will undergo a rare mutation, transforming into a powerful, glimmering ruler. Without the societal need of a leader, Carbink will not evolve in captivity, and evolved Carbink, named Diancie, are incredibly rare. The shift from light blue gems into pink is said to be a stunning process, for those few lucky enough to witness it.
Named: Carbink - Prexie - Diancie
Note: Diancie canonically results from a Carbink undergoing a sudden mutation, but you cannot evolve Carbink into Diancie in the games.
#719 Mega - When paired with Diancite, the Mythical Pokemon Diancie are capable of Mega Evolving into the luxurious Mega Diancie, known by those who have seen it as the “Royal Pink Princess”. The energy and pressure released during Mega Evolution causes the rocky exterior of this Pokemon’s lower body to crumble away, revealing a stunning pink diamond. Additional gemstones and adornments add to their regal appearance and aura of nobility. Mega Diancie’s new gemstones aren’t just for show; they grant this Pokemon additional weaponry for their increased attack stats.
(Prexie [preks·ee] is a combination of “pressure” and “pixie.”)
