Today was a good day for L.Joe. He could enjoy being outside during the day thanks to the overcast and the weather. The clouds shielded him from the sun's rays, which put him in a good mood. So he decided to head downtown to look for some entertainment.
He remembered overhearing some of his classmates talk about this one club that hosted rap battles. Even if L.Joe didn't rap and didn't listen to mainstream music often, he did enjoy the hip hop and rap music.
As he entered the building that him classmates talked about, he could instantly hear people rapping. But a voice sounded... oddly feminine, even if it was a bit deep. He could hear rhymes and raps roll off their tongue as he made his way down the stairs into the club.
In the middle of the room stood a milky-chocolate brown haired female who looked like she could be a model. L.Joe was in awe as he watched her assault her rival with her freestyle raps. There was someone across from her and the crowd formed a little circle around the two. If he hadn't known better, he would've assumed there was a physical fight about to happen. The crowd cheered as she finished and began to disperse. He was too late. Still, he made his way to where he last saw the rapper and tried to locate her.
