Halftime 2018: Best Albums of the Year
I strongly believe that when all is said and done, 2018 will be a contender for the greatest year of music in hip-hop history.
I also believe that as of right now, 2018 does not have a hands down lock seated at #1. That should not contradict my opening statement, because what 2018 might lack in a clear frontrunner it makes up for with crazy depth. This is a diverse list of different styles from artists hailing from different parts of the U.S., and each project clearly has something special to offer. I’m sure these rankings will change by year’s end, but if I had to release my list of the Best Albums of 2018 up until this very moment, it would look something like this...
1. Rosebudd’s Revenge 2: The Bitter Dose by Roc Marciano
3. Black Panther Soundtrack by Kendrick Lamar & Various Artists
