The dance of devotion - The masculine principle of consciousness & right relation between the polarities within the one consciousness/reality-
This force (the masculine force of consciousnes) -is sharp as a blade, on point as an arrow & can cut a path straight through to its aim-
He is the masculine breath of spirit that pervades all substance
While not for one moment does he waiver in his intent & aim, as the one-directional arrow of seeing that penetrates every square inch of substance with his essence
He is not the chooser- for example, Rama was chosen by Sita through a ritual ceremony
There is the story in the Shiva Puranas of the plundering Shiva phallus on fire with desire, that could only find rest & equilibrium in the warmth & embrace of the Parvati yoni (blade in cup or scabbard)
When phallus & yoni are not in right relation to one another,
the phallus-blade-arrow
becomes a missile of over-destruction turning the Earth into a barren wasteland without fertility & prosperity.
When the phallus is stabilised in the yoni-cup-scabbard, welfare & prosperity results throughout the land
The universal pulse of the One him & her on the inside (within Consciousness) forever making love- in terms of creation's energy dynamics, can be felt in every interaction between humans.
But of course, in our intimate encounters, we create intentional space to experience this truth with connection & presence-
This is the heart of devotion.
