“Okay, I won’t leave just yet.” She allowed Jack’s arms to stay locked around her waist, her hand weaving into his hair. He’d been a little more clingy lately, or perhaps that was simply apart of Katherine’s imagination. She hadn’t always been so touchy feely with the people in her life, not even her family. A few hugs here and there, but that was about it.
But Jack gave her more than a couple of hugs whenever he saw her. He kissed her, he gave her plenty of cuddles when she needed them most, and he knew how to make any day better. It was impossible not to smile when he was around.
“You feeling okay, Jack?” She asked softly, working her hand through his locks.
