Pride Sine
He’s not a terrible boyfriend sometimes.
"Sere!" Pride chimed excitedly as he took her hand. He was beaming... They'd been invited as a special guest at a huge carnival. The live show was - amazing. Even Kiki hadn't been able to pick it apart. Key and Jehovah had worked hard to put together a new song for it and although there wasn't a lot of prep time the other performers helped make it seem like and actual plan... The other benefit was that they got to chill at the carnival afterward. Serenity and himself still in their 'circus' attire. Serenity was themed around a cute clown and himself had the 'lion' outfit that was essentially just a leather jacket with a fur collar and his hair messier than usual.
Serenity blushed a little bit as he pulled her in, kissing her cheek. "You were magnificent. I was magnificent, right?" He chimed. She knew some of it was because as decided she got the crowd to focus on him as the drum solo came up. But; he was particularly chipper. Everyone had been stopping him for autographs on the way through the crowd. " Of course...So, What do you wanna do?" She asked as she looked up at him. He shrugged. "Whatever you want to do..." He held her hand firmly, smiling. They walked side by side; stopping occasionally for pictures.
It wasn't till they rounded the corner that Serenity's demure faded and she let out and excited noise. Pride following her gaze... It was a prize game with balls and bottles. He followed her gaze noting a familiar cat-shaped plush. He recalled her showing him and old photo with a similar more worn one.
Serenity had already pulled out money as she marched over and he followed as the announcer spotted them. "Ohhh! Ladies and gentlemen! We've got Serenity and Pride from casual hostility up for a toss! " The crowd instantly seemed to shift closer; Serenity's hand shaking as she saw everyone grouping around them. Pride's arm sweeping over her with 5 dollars in it. Serenity's face flushed.
"Looks like Pride is stepping up for the young lady. Five dollars, Five balls!" The announcer looked towards Serenity's gaze towards the cat doll with a mischievous smirk. "To win the cat you'll need to get four stacks down! Can he do it?!" Pride squinted at the stacks of bottles... Picking up the first ball and adjusting himself before hurling it towards the stack of bottles, two fell. The third remained. He didn't let it phase him. "Well then! Four balls! Maybe that was just a warm-up, eh?"
"I'm not leaving till she gets that cat." He chimed with a smirk. The crowd cheering and clapping as he picked up another ball... All bets off. Strike. Strike. Strike. It was perfect. Every time the crowd cheered he got better. Picking up the last ball and tossing it into the air a couple of times. Serenity had attempted to keep composure but her eyes were wide with excitement and attraction as she looked up at him. He couldn't help himself-he wanted to put on a show. That movie esque moment. His fingers gripping the ball and in a smooth motion, tossing it and moving; kissing her as the sound of bottles falling and the bell ringing followed. Serenity flushed bright red before the announcer grabbed the cat plush from the shelf and handing it to her. "Thank you! Thank you!" Her excitement showed as she squished it. Kissing his cheek.
