my opinion on;

character in general:    ah !      yet  another  character  that  the  canon  did  dirty .       honestly ,      i  really  enjoy  ikusaba’s  character .      what  little  of  her  true  personality  as  we  understand  her  in  the  THH  fte’s ,      as  well  as  the  supplementary  if ,      is  of  a  compassionate  and  engaging  person  who  defies  the  stalwart  implications  of  her  talent ,      and  is  able  to  exact  genuine  attachment  and  commitment  to  those  who  respect  her .      that’s  not  to  say  that  i  don’t  enjoy  ikusaba’s  fierce  devotion  to  her  sister ;      love ,      however  you  twist  it ,      is  so  diverse  and  highly  individual .      i  appreciate  her  mercenary  mindset ,     but  the  canon’s  attention  to  the  way  in  which  ikusaba’s  compassionate  conditions  are  used  and  abused  are  really  quite  moving .how they play them:      a  god  among  men .      you  go  above  and  beyond  to  bring  ikusaba  to  life ;      we  receive  so  little  of  who  she  truly  is ,      but  you  tender  her  personality  with  such  fineness  and  finesse ,      that  she’s  all  the  more  endearing .       you  never  skimp  on  her  talent ,      her  mental  posture ,     or  on  the  presence  of  thought  we  know  ikusaba  to  have ;      you  give  so  much  life  to  a  character  who  is  given  so  little  within  canon ,      and  that  is  incredibly  laudable .the mun:       my  power  top  don’t  stop ,     i  fucking  love  you  and  i  miss  you  every  second  we’re  apart .      we  write  hard  and  meme  harder ,      and  you  are  one  of  the  most  positive  personalities  i’ve  ever  had  the  honor  of  meeting .      you’re  the  only  person  i’d  ever  let  top  me .      ever .      you’re  a  fucken  valkyrie  goddess  and  please  don’t  leave  me  come  back  to  me  i’m  beggin

Though when Mukuro told him to get a burger, he felt a bit confused at first. He wasn't used to people saying something like that, and he wasn't sure if she was being serious or not. Perhaps she's being serious, assuming from her nature.

"...E-Ehm...I'll t-try to get one later I suppose." He mumbled quietly. "...Thank you for that, I-Ikusaba-san." --

Mukuro looks to the side for just a moment, a little light of embarrassment slingshotting across her cheeks before her eyes return to Saihara's. A combat-weathered hand comes up to pat Saihara on the head. (owo/)

– It’s been a really long time since he last saw Mukuro, and seeing her once more made him feel rather…Happy. It was really nice to see her again, even if they were just beginning to get to know each other a bit more.

Smiling lightly, he was about to greet her. That was until he noticed how she was looking from side to side, he was a bit confused at first. Just when he was going to say a word to her, the next thing he knew is that she’s patting his head.

Frozen.

The detective didn’t exactly respond at first, he wasn’t sure how to. Eventually, he began to chuckle lightly. This felt rather friendly, yet he was still rather nervous. Perhaps this is her way of saying hello?

 " W-Well hello t-to you too, I-Ikusaba-san. “ –

she hands him her copy of BATTLEMEADOW 2 because she feels like giving something away to a friend... and she wants them to know about guns. guns and tanks. and war. she's excited. about that stuff. yes.

-- Oh what's this now...? Shuichi always appreciated gifts, even if he felt bad that they'd give him something. Still, it was nice. But this...Well, he shouldn't be surprised if it's from Mukuro. She always liked these sort of stuff, so he might as well give it a proper look sometime, just to make her happy.

"A-ah...Thank y-you I-Ikusaba-kun." 

He will have to take notes on this, just in case, Mukuro will ask him about it. --

AU where Ouma has the ability to mind control anyone?

🎲  He grew up with it, meaning he always had the basic ability but slowly learned to use, expand and control it over time. He always had a feeling as a child that something was off whenever someone complied with his crazy commands without asking questions. As a teenager, the realisation caught up to him. At first he tested it carefully and trained it, he tried to explore how far his abilities can reach and where the limits are.

🎲  But once he did realise the system behind it, he stopped. After gaining total control of it, he stopped using it entirely, since he believes everyone needs to live life their own way and it’s only fair if he makes someone do as he says if it’s out of their own accord. Most importantly though, how boring would that be? Always getting what you want, always being able to control other people’s reactions. Simply knowing that he was able to do it kept bothering him.

🎲  However, there are certain circumstances in which he uses his powers and that is exclusively if he wants to protect someone. As a consequence, not protecting someone he could have saved from harm slowly started feeling to him like hurting the victim himself. It’s a feeling he doesn’t want to accept exists, but it’s there.

🎲  He will only use it if he feels like there’s no other choice. Meaning, he’ll first try to settle the situation through trickery and lies. For him, having this ability slowly became a responsibility of protecting others, but since he only uses it when absolutely necessary… he gets into way more trouble as a consequence. Expect him to be more bitter and doubtful towards other’s actions, views and the world, but also less careful about his deeds and own safety. 

🎲  He wouldn’t tell anyone about it. Not a soul. It’s a problem he wants to deal with on his own, since telling this to someone, no matter how faithful they are, will automatically make them doubt him even more. He’d only reveal it if he purposefully wants to make people doubt him. If they spill the secret, he’ll lie about it and that’s it - no way in hell anyone would believe that without proof anyway.
