Old times with Uncle
“Hey Uncle Scai! Come play with me!” The toddler trotted up - at least, tried - to his uncle with a wide grin on his face.

“And just what do you think you’re doing, little cub?”
Shari's owner here. Their are similarities, yes, just like with Simba and Kimba. Don't tell me that their aren't any similar scenes between the two franchises. Simba loses his father, correct? Kimba looses his father, correct also? Both grow up and are visited by their fathers' spirit/ghost, correct? And now thanks to the Lion Guard, both also have TWO cubs - a boy and a girl.
Uhm, how does this coincide with your trying to defend your laziness with more excuses for developing your oc?
In the falling Dusk
The long, hot day had finally passed over the grasslands. At least, it almost passed. A setting sun promised a dark, moon-lit night, and a white-furred lion cub awoke to greet it all. He gave a large yawn when he woke up in his little hiding place amongst the grass. The blades of grass coating the lands were so long and thick that he’d learned long ago how to use them as cover, even bringing tips of the grass down to fold over his resting form protectively. Previously the early morning hadn’t been kind to him, hunting-wise, so he sought instead to sleep until night. It was easier to sneak up on animals then, even if there may have been fewer prey out and about for him.
After lapping at his paw and ensuring his face was cleaned and orderly, Peké slipped out of his hiding place in the grass and stretched, taking his time to wake up and survey his surroundings. As usual, the grasslands seemed empty, and only the echo of the wind over rustling, long blades of grass could be heard. He’d sit awhile, considering his options before venturing forth to search the somewhat-empty lands. Being sure to keep his tail and head low to the ground, Peké let the grass conceal him as he’d search and travel endlessly, hoping to stumble across a small meal that was within his reach.

Lying on his stomach, Nuka gave a passing glance to the cub in the grass. “What are you doing?” he huffed, his tail flicking behind him.

“Lift your head. Puff out your chest,” Scar hissed, walking around the young lioness. “How do you expect to hold any sort of authority if you act as thought you will flee with your tail tucked between your legs?”
